28.02.2026 - my cutie mark is three instances of sylenth1

one of them is for a hardstyle-y unison supersaw lead another one is an emo distorted triangle/saw acid-lead hybrid the last one is a distorted pwm lead and also a little bonus serum2 instance thats just another supersaw hardstyle-y lead layer with a bunch of reverb and delay and compression and distortion and theyre in a bubble surrounded by ott and valhalladelay and artsacoustic reverb and fruity flanger (ultra fat chorus preset) and gclip and when you put them together they're kinda sick. im on some stupid trancegaze bullshit and i am worsening the stereotype that transfeminine individuals exclusively like and create loud dance music but i pinkie pie promise i am creating this with taste. im certain this isnt a miss from me, and im adamant on not missing , because if i release something i consider mid i think i'll pick up the normie type of queer audience who only really gives a gaf on the surface level of my art , which would mirror my own mindset on my music if i did decide to release tracks i find middling . i just hope when im finished with this project i will be genuinely proud of what i have created , i like this track ive done its basically finished as im typing this . i believe in myself that i *can* make 9/10 more belter tunes by the time ill release the whjole thing i will just need to focus ^u^

01.03.2026 - the otherkin will dance dot com

okay, so i actually did finish that first track now. well kind of, the gist of it is done but i feel like i could have some cool seamless shit like those hardcore cds i flip through when im bored. talking about the hardcore til i die-s and the late bonkers cds (2004-06) even tho i think my favourite years for uk hardcore is 2010-12 around? i felt like those were the years when fuckers were just absolutely maximising those vec3 clubby bassdrums and pwm basses while still maintaining that earlier millennium's sonic identity, which i find to be very scrumptious comfort food. i flicked through a bunch of Technikore's tracks from that era and i would say i liked them, they're definitely not bad, but i feel like my main gripe was the sort of trend of specific elements which were expected to be in hardcore at that time were extremely formulaic. hell the melodies were competent but i cant really recall any of them which is a huge issue with memorability. i wanna tackle that issue kinda like how beansclub did his 'transient fleeting memoirs' album, either have a couple ambient tracks where the melodies have more breathing room or write it more like a millennium trance melody while drowning the everliving shit out of everything with reverb and saturation, both of those really work and make a more memorable number of tracks than quite a few hardcore cds ive listened to i reckon. as im typing this with my hooves i can exactly recall the melody in 'feel the distance, in the moment, with you' (track 12) because it's really really fucking good. i just don't want to overuse that type of melody because my first track goes a little in that direction (or to be specific, in my direction har har). its cool but if i overuse it ill just end up like those hardcore cds where listeners will fade out of consciousness and just have it as noise. i think that could be cool if executed properly like some harsh noise albums, but i wanna make the ponies dance! i should really just take a hint from the 2010 guys n hav dat generic pads n piano n vocal breakdown sections or lazy switchups to industrial techno drumz. only a couple times for the latter though, otherwise again itd be cheap n expected xux it's fine. its fine i will manage. asides from my project ive also spruced up my site quite a bit (if u couldnt tell idk) and im rly happy with the front page now ^u^ like actually proud enough for me to consider presenting my project on here. well i kind of have to because i stated that id do so in college written work lolol. ill be alright i reckon

06.03.2026 - stupif bitch lock in NOW.

starting to realise the project im working on is actually significantly larger and will require more effort than my previous eps only today. first four weekdays of This week i did. barely anything. on the music side but ive made and polished up a demo to the point its nearly done so thats got my hopes up again!!!!!!!!! ive felt like my work ethic has extremely inconsistent ebbs and flows but now is the time where i need a boost. ok i typed those first lines a few hours ago and im already pulling the industrial kick trick on track 2 its going to be a rough journey LOLL im honestly surprised that what ive made is quite enjoyable to me personally. actually pulling through instead of falling flat in a studio session still feels alien to me @u@ even after what like 7 years of fl. thats crazy. my ears might be cooked by the loud mastering though , track 1 is roughly the same volume so pulling out would feel like a cop out + it would make the listener probably go like oh why is it so quiet now , and i dont rly want them to adjust volume in an album thats meant to be a whole solid thing. so im DYING on this hill. #trancegaze 2026 year of the horse + gaze + ratio

08.03.2026 - woah

i feel like i'm rapidly raising my skill ceiling in terms of art and music right now. i feel alive. even with my new worx, though, i still know i'm not the best. i dgaf though this project is now bursting with potential. track one and two back to back are alright for my standards but this new snippet of mine i genuinely fucking love. i just have to keep up this momentum. if i dont then my dreams are crushed because again its tied to my last college year , and i want to get into university! thinking back on a few days ago where the marking scheme my college uses had examples of pass/merit/distinction work, it actually baffles me that a few examples had, for their final major project, which is three months in duration, only created one song for the entirety of that time. how do people live with that on their conscience? not even an ep or anything just One track. i would understand if it was some huge ass symphonic orchestral complex work with 200+ tracks or something but a few of them were just covers of rock/pop songs. its fine just you could do so much more in that allocated time than one Cover. whatever im basically saying im very confident with my actual project so far but the written side will be more difficult. markers here demand a lot of research and written work to be done and a fair amount of that stuff just kills my soul. the research side because there are basically zero good tutorials on youtube for the type of music i make outside of the artists themselves making those few breakdowns/basic tutorials, and having to explain every little detail about my creation process is something i just find tedious. more of a little rant about how i think my educational environment really wants me to speak like The Most Neurotypical Body In The World but you cant shake these autistic bones out of me

20.03.2026 - renaissance

in a world of physical and digital gentrification, generative ai shit and capital canva templates, i stand with my weird gay cringe ponies in garry's mod and team fortress 2. in lighter news i scrapped my tracks for lp1 since i didn't really find them to fit the vision of my project, i finished a new one today and i'm much more proud of wanting to release it to the public, when the project iself is ready. expect a more hyperflip-influenced sound than my trancegaze stuff. meow meow meow meow meow pony pony pony pony pony

30.04.2026 - i am a freeform

i cannot WAIT to release this fucking album a good amount of the trax are done but i still need the art side n visualiser n shit to make ajhbdkjhbskjsbd but im rly proud of a few tracks , even if its in a different direction to my gazier stuff im still confident my fans will like it !!! meeeooooowwww

17.07.2026 - new coat of paint

i thought the old design of this site looked a bit fugly so i changed it to match my soundcloud/bandcamp more!! still a work in progress, but page consistency should be less of a problem once all the pages are back up ~ also i now have an instagram account, probably wont super use it outside of music drops but it'll be nice to have. i probably won't have another twitter in a while since my profile got nuked for using oldtwitter extension, but i miss the japanese music producers who are more visible on that site.
